This is an 18 year old single malt Scotch whisky from the excellent Auchroisk distillery! It was distilled back in 1996 and bottled in 2014 after enjoying a Port cask finish. 570 bottles were produced, bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for The Coopers Choice range.
Nose: Fresh cantaloupe, sponge cake and a pinch of diced herbs.
Palate: Candied peanuts, peaches, a touch of greenery.
Finish: Peppery, with a little bit of waxy orange.
