A single malt Scotch whisky from Aultmore that was distilled in 2010 and aged in two first-fill bourbon casks for 8 years before it was bottled by James Eadie at 46% ABV in 2018 for the Small Batch selection. 663 bottles were produced.
Aultmore 8 Year Old 2010 (casks 800025 & 800027) – Small Batch (James Eadie)
Nose: Honey-drenched orchard fruit, fresh barley and buttered bread lead with warming oak and white pepper in support.
Palate: Bright citrus, toasted almonds and Vanilla ice cream emerge from the recurring flavours from the nose.
Finish: Mellow and enjoyably bittersweet with a touch of dried herbs.
