This is a collectable bell-shaped wade decanter filled with Bell’s whisky, released to celebrate the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II, which occurred in 2016. Bell’s have long produced these decanters for royal occasions, and the Queen’s 90th is most certainly an exciting moment. This is a release of just 1,000 decanters.
Nose: Quite soft and gentle. Malted barley and hints of cut herbs and a fresh floral note. Cereal and grist with a little honey.
Palate: Quite smooth, medium body. Barley and cereals with nut oils, hints of wood and spice.
Finish: Short with notes of fruitcake and smoke.
