A 10 year old Clynelish single malt bottled by Signatory for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection. It was distilled in June 2008 and left to age in a pair of bourbon barrels until March 2019, then bottled without any chill-filtration. Because that’s what the title of the bottling range is about.
Nose: Beeswax and brownies, with hints of burnt oak developing.
Palate: Fudge, floral malt, cinnamon sticks and another hint of beeswax.
Finish: Softly spicy on the finish – ginger, pepper and brown sugar.
