Part of Compass Box’s Canto Cask range, which is 16 single cask, cask strength whiskies all finished in variety of different new oaks from France and America, toasted to different levels. Prior to finishing, the whiskies are produced in exactly the same way, with number 48 indicating that heavily toasted French oak has been used.

Nose: A fairly nutty nose that develops sweeter aromas quite quickly.
Palate: A creamy fudge drips into the picture, with manuka honey and prickles of nutmeg and
Finish: Warming and still rather sweet.
