A Scotch blend named after an ancient hillfort that was once home to Fergus Mor and the kings of Dál Riata. Now famous for its unique stone carvings, it would have been a formidable defensive position in its time, not least because it was surrounded by the seemingly impenetrable bogs of Mòine Mhòr. Starting to sound a bit like Mordor isn’t it (Mhòrdor?), but more Scottish and less, you know, evil. Lost my trail of thought there – ah yes, whisky. A blend of Highland and Lowland whiskies, to be precise. Precious whiskies.
