A limited edition cask strength bottling of the English Whisky Company’s Chapter 17 – for this particular chapter, they triple distilled the whisky, a process often performed by Lowland Scotch distilleries which can result in a lighter style of whisky. 120 bottles were produced, bottled at 56.7% ABV.
Nose: Caramel, sponge cake with lots of vanilla in the batter, a whiff or freshly peeled orange.
Palate: Cocoa powder and white chocolate. The peeled orange notes get kicked up a notch here too.
Finish: A slightly sweet herbaceous touch on the finish.
