It’s an independently bottled Laphroaig single malt Scotch whisky, aged in a single cask for 9 years! This was distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2015 by the Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for their Coopers Choice range. 360 bottles were produced.
Laphroaig 9 Year Old 2005 (cask 0186) – The Coopers Choice (The Vintage Malt Whisky Co.)
Nose: Thick waves of medicinal smoke, with a little pinch of sea salt and vanilla-y oak.
Palate: With a drop of water, this shows off layers of apples, grapes and winter spice. Slightly toasty, and still rich in peat.
Finish: Fresh fruit persists.
