This is a well-aged blended Scotch whisky from the Chivas Brothers’ Cask Strength Edition bottling range. The name of the blend is Linn House Reserve, referencing the 19th Century mansion on the banks of the River Isla owned by Chivas Brothers. The blend itself is made from malt and grain whiskies all aged for at least 31 years before bottling in November 2015.
Nose: Incredibly rich and fruity with notes of ripe pear in syrup, peaches, creamy toffee and a sensation of bonfire smoke.
Palate: Fills the mouth with sweet fruity flavours intermingled with honey and a dusting of spicy cinnamon.
Finish: Very long, sweet and smooth.
