A wonderful 8 year old Port Dundas bottled by… us?! Yes, that’s right, we bottled up this excellent expression for our very own Single Cask Series. It was distilled at the Lowland-based (and now sadly closed) Port Dundas in 2009, then aged in an ex-bourbon hogshead before being bottled at a punchy 63.6% in 2018.
Nose: Porridge topped with cream and brown sugar, alongside milk chocolate and earthy tones.
Palate: Creamy vanilla custard with a sharper hint of floral citrus, followed by drying oak spices.
Finish: Slightly fruity with subtle hints of liquorice.
