The Spirit of Freedom 45 blended Scotch whisky comes from J & A Mitchell, the Springbank distillery owners, made from 45 different Scotch whiskies and bottled at 45% ABV. The significance of the number 45 with this release stems from the percentage of voters who handed in a ’Yes’ vote in the 2014 Scottish Independence Referendum.
