The second release in Teeling’s Brabazon Bottling range showcases the impact that Port casks can have on maturation. This single malt is blended with a variety of whiskeys from Teeling’s warehouses, including portions of whiskey fully aged in Port casks and portions finished in Port casks, resulting in a red-fruit forward expression bursting with character.
Nose: Ripe blueberries and blackcurrants, Victoria sponge cake with plenty of cream and jam, cinnamon, honey.
Palate: Raspberry, a touch of mineraly flint and dried oak spices, stewed apples and poached pears.
Finish: Fizzy strawberry sweeties, dark chocolate and brown-sugar-dusted porridge.
