This is the single malt expression from the Wild Geese range of Irish Whiskeys, which has won a handsome selection of awards, including the Best Irish Malt (No Age) at the 2011 World Whiskies Awards.
The Wild Geese Single Malt
Nose: Bold notes of plum and summer berry fruitiness, with golden malt and hints of oak.
Palate: Rich, buttery malt, developing vanilla sweetness further on. Oak spices and a hint of cracked black pepper.
Finish: Medium length with cinnamon and vanilla lasting.
