One of a trio of 12 year old whiskeys launched by West Cork Distillers in 2016 – this particular expression was allowed a finishing period in Sherry casks, imparting notes of sweet berries and milk chocolate.
West Cork 12 Year Old Sherry Cask
Nose: Vanilla pod, Sherried peels and a touch of tart raspberry.
Palate: Raisins and dates, slightly nutty at points. Sugary milk chocolate.
Finish: Thick blackcurrant juice and caramel.
