From the 2018 Release of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, this William Larue Weller bottling was distilled in the winter of 2006 from Kentucky corn and North Dakota wheat and malted barley. It was then matured for over 12 years in new American white oak casks before it was bottled in 2018 without any filtration at cask strength 62.8% ABV. Jim Murray awarded the the award for 2019 World Whisky of the Year, which demonstrates the bar Buffalo Trace sets with its William Larue Weller Antique Collection releases.
