Linkwood 24 Year Old 1992 – Small Batch (WM Cadenhead)

Lighter than light Linkwood is a malt beloved by blenders, and this Cadenhead-bottled 24 year old expression doesn’t deviate from the delicious norm – but it does ramp up the fruit. This one is deceptively drawn from a pair of ex-bourbon casks, yet toffee and even hints of Christmas cake sneak into the tasting notes. A Speyside chameleon, and thoroughly enjoyable.
