The very first release from The Lakes Distillery’s Whiskymaker’s Reserve series! This English single malt from the Lake District was drawn from a combination of red wine and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, and has been bottled at full-on cask strength, resulting in a big, full-bodied flavour profile.
Nose: Orange zest, chocolate digestives, cinnamon and honeycomb.
Palate: Spiced hot chocolate, buttery malt, praline, a touch of flint.
Finish: Dried fruit (dates and sultanas), toasted nuts, boozy red wine.
