Bonfire Attire 1987 (bottled 2017) – Wemyss Malts (Bowmore)

A 1987 vintage Bowmore single malt, independently bottled by the wonderful Wemyss Malts. This Islay treat was aged in a single hogshead until 2017, when it was bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 241 bottles. Wemyss have given it the name Bonfire Attire, hinting towards its flavour profile, so expect a smoky dram!
