Pl6 -Elements of Islay (Port Charlotte)

Here we have batch six of the Pl range from Elements of Islay. Pl is the abbreviation for Port Charlotte, which is itself another name for a heavily peated Bruichladdich. We can hardly keep up with all these code names! Pl6 was distilled in 2011 and matured for over seven years in a trio of bourbon barrels. The single malt was bottled at natural cask strength, 55.3% ABV.
