This is the first batch of the gloriously malty, cereal-rich Aberfeldy from That Boutique-y Whisky Company. The label for this features a wonderful illustration of the renowned whisky writer Ian Buxton. Ian lives right behind Aberfeldy, and here we see him panning for gold in the distillery’s water source – the Pitlie Burn! This is a release of just 155 numbered bottles. ‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, blended malts, blends and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic-novel-style labels.
