A Wemyss bottling of single malt Scotch whisky from the Clynelish distillery, aged in a hogshead cask from 1997 to 2016 before being bottled with an outturn of 241 bottles. The name Apple Barley Pitcher was given to this whisky as a hint towards its flavour profile.
Nose: Citrus blossom and violets, fresh vanilla, a hint of beeswax.
Palate: Dusty oak and mint, orchard fruits, orange oil, crumbly oat cakes.
Finish: Buttery biscuits and fruit chutney.
