Ardbeg – Batch 5 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)

So bright… so beautiful… ah Ardbeg Batch 5! The label once again features famous collector Geert Bero, as well as Peaty, our poochie friend from Fèis Ìle 2013. Is there somebody else up there in the rafters though? One of the nesting birds, perhaps a swallow or a house martin? Looks more like a craban though… How far is it from Dunland to Islay? This is a release of just 23 bottles. ‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, bourbons, blended malts and blends from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
