Another brilliant indie bottling from Thompson Bros., this one hails from the Ardmore distillery in the Highlands! Distilled in 2009, the single malt spent its decade of ageing in a single refill bourbon barrel. At 10 years old, it was bottled up at 55.6% ABV, with an outturn of 253 bottles.
Nose: Praline and gingerbread aromas, alongside milk chocolate.
Palate: Oaky vanilla and honeyed spices, with cigar box and hints of white pepper.
Finish: Caramel chocolate and a touch of milky coffee.
