Açıklama
This peaty treat hails from Switzerland, more specifically from the Seven Seals distillery. The smoky dram was finished in casks which previously held Port, making for a balanced whisky full of jammy fruits alongside the peat.
Seven Seals Peated – Port Wood Finish
Nose: Obvious Port influence on the nose, with lots of dried fruit, particularly raisin, with caramel and oak spice.
Palate: Even more dried fruit, with a touch of grape skin, with smooth honey notes alongside gently warming baking spice, most notably cinnamon and cassia.
Finish: Fragrant chai spice and dark red berries remain on a lengthy finish.
