Açıklama
Single cask single malt from Ardmore, aged for 16 years in a bourbon cask – from April 2001 to 2017. Following maturation, the whisky was bottled for The Cooper’s Choice range by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. with an outturn of 300 bottles.
Ardmore 16 Year Old 2001 (cask 1581) – The Cooper’s Choice (The Vintage Malt Whisky Co.)
Nose: A good helping of peat arrives first, before honey and caramel.
Palate: Nutty – almonds and roast chestnuts. Still packed with caramel, now a hint of vegetal vanilla too.
Finish: Just a little bit peppery on the finish.
