For the 20th anniversary of its Armorik single malt, the French brand has released Triagoz, its first peated edition. Named in tribute to the archipelago located off the Côte de Granit Rose, the French single malt was matured in ex-bourbon barrels and peated to a significant 50ppm – so expect it to pack a punch!
Nose: Citrus, toasted banana and salted caramel balance the peat and marine notes.
Palate: Floral and herbaceous notes emerge among creamy toffee and jammy fruits. The peat becomes earthy and more vegetal.
Finish: A flash of white pepper spice cuts through lingering bonfire embers.
