A Swiss cask-finished single malt in the form of Seven Seals Port Wood Finish! Thanks to its finishing period in casks which previously held Port, this one’s full of fruity, Christmassy notes to boot. A very lovely evening dram, we reckon.
Seven Seals – Port Wood Finish
Nose: Root ginger, freshly baked raisin cookies and earthy oak.
Palate: Cherry jam, floral oak, slightly burnt toffee and a hint of peat smoke, with clove-studded orange.
Finish: Caramelised nuts, honey and Christmas spices.
