You ever dram with the devil in the pale moonlight? Well, here’s your second of three chances in this unholy trinity of releases. Chapter II was created from 27 casks by Master Distiller James MacTaggart, 17 Sherry casks, 6 unpeated bourbon casks and 4 peated bourbon casks with vintages ranging from 1997 to 2004.
Nose: Dried fruit and wood spices with notes of mocha and tobacco leaf.
Palate: Vanilla, mixed nuts, juicy prunes, dried papaya and chocolate liqueurs.
Finish: Caramel, cocoa and earthy winter spices.
