To celebrate their 10th birthday, the Balcones folks over in Texas crafted this limited edition expression of the much-loved , a smoky corn whisky. This particular one was aged in a single barrel before being bottled!
Balcones Brimstone Single Barrel – Tenth Anniversary
Nose: Syrupy forest fruit, with BBQ sauce, smoky dark chocolate with a smoked meat hint, and a dash of brown sugar.
Palate: Silky honey and black pepper, a whisp of bacon, and a good helping of berry compote.
Finish: Charcoal, fruit and nut dark chocolate with a crack of black pepper.
