A rather collectible Speysider here, this is the first edition of Balvenie Rose. The 16 Year Old single malt was finished in a first fill Port pipe, released to celebrate the history of Balvenie Castle. As the story goes, in 1460 the annual rent of Balvenie Castle was fixed at the rate of a single red rose, paid by Margaret Rose to the King. We’d take that rate in a heartbeat. : This box has some damage, but the liquid within the bottle remains unharmed.
