An independently bottled Aberfeldy, which has been given the rather charming title ’Banquet of Fruits’! This was distilled in 1994 and matured in a single hogshead cask until 2015, when it was bottled by Wemyss Malts – 220 bottles were produced.
Nose: Candied apricot, peach and a little honey’d malt.
Palate: Apple pie crust (quite buttery crust, too), quince jam and a handful of dried mixed berries.
Finish: Quite soft and rounded with zesty citrus.
