This is a bottling of single malt from the Braeval distillery, which was distilled in May 1989, back when they were still known as Braes of Glenlivet; they changed their name in 1994. The whisky matured in a refill hogshead for 25 years, until June 2014, when Douglas Laing bottled it up as part of their excellent Directors’ Cut range. 174 bottles were released.
