A Signatory Un-Chillfiltered Collection bottling of 19 year old Clynelish single malt, distilled in June 1996 and bottled in March 2016. This was drawn from a pair of hogshead casks and bottled without any chill-filtration at 46% ABV.
Clynelish 19 Year Old 1996 (casks 6401 & 6402) – Un-Chillfiltered Collection (Signatory)
Nose: Toasted scones with a thick layer of butter, orange segments and a little bit of salt & pepper crisps.
Palate: Waxy peels, liquorice root and ginger. Creamy mouth feel.
Finish: A final hint of malt and milk chocolate.
