Indie Clynelish, aged in a single Sherry puncheon from 11th of September 1997 to 11th of September 2017! 581 bottles were produced, bottled by Càrn Mòr for their Celebration of the Cask range.
Clynelish 1997 (bottled 2017) (cask 9441) – Celebration of the Cask (Càrn Mòr)
Nose: Malt loaf, flint-y mineral hints, a touch of rye spiciness, brown sugar.
Palate: Notes of recently set-ablaze Christmas cake, mince pies (not set ablaze) and salted butter.
Finish: A very subtle whiff of coastal air follows sultana and cacao notes.
