An incredible blended malt from Compass Box. Lady Luck is a vatting of three casks, two of which were very old Caol Ilas, the other one was a 1995 Imperial. This is an oily, aperitif style whisky, very well made! A release of just 754 bottles.
Nose: Oily and smoky. Ashes, sweet, tangy citrus. Almost herbal, something like Tequila in the mix! Spices, wood oils.
Palate: Big on citrus, tangy and rich with an oily character, bonfire smoke, woody.
Finish: Spiced, herbal, cocoa.
