The third and final release from Compass Box’s Myths & Legends series, created to debunk the, well, myths and legends surrounding Scotch whisky. Myths & Legends III was designed to challenge the notion that whisky from celebrated and renowned distilleries is too precious to blend. So, parcels of malt whisky used in have been added to peated malt whiskies from a pair of celebrated island distilleries, namely Highland Park and Caol Ila. The 4,564 rather striking bottles were released in 2019 at 46% ABV.
