Well-Sherried Dalmore, anyone? Yes please! That’s exactly what we’ve got here – Dalmore single malt aged in a single Sherry hogshead from 1996 to 2017, independently bottled by Malts of Scotland. A release of 225 bottles.
Dalmore 1996 (bottled 2017) (cask 17003) – Malts Of Scotland
Nose: Powerful oak, stewed rhubarb, milk chocolate and oily walnuts.
Palate: Big and muscular, with loads of Sherried sweetness and Christmas-y spice. A hint of dried apple hides in the background.
Finish: Buttered popcorn, chocolate-coated raisins and ginger.
