A single cask single malt French whisky from Domaine Des Hautes Glaces, the same folks behind that tasty . This was matured in a single cask that previously was home to Saint-Joseph white wine, before being bottled with an outturn of 270 bottles. It was released for La Maison du Whisky’s 60th Anniversary celebrations.
Nose: Sultanas and sharp green apple aromas. A hint of fresh oak heat.
Palate: Cake-y and soft. Almonds and pine nuts, followed by intense sweet fruit.
Finish: Honey’d biscuits and black pepper.
