We’ve only gone and independently bottled a smashing 24 year old Irish single malt whiskey, drawn from a single cask! This was distilled (by an undisclosed distillery) in November 1991 and aged in a bourbon barrel until June 2016, when we bottled it for our Single Cask Series. Jake is particularly smitten with this one…
Nose: Big bundles of juicy peaches, with a touch of redcurrant too. White chocolate and pistachio ice cream.
Palate: Orange oil and grapefruit peel. More stone fruit notes continue, now with hints of Maraschino liqueur.
Finish: Sweet fruit remains at the fore, though a touch of fragrant barley develops.
