Single malt from an unidentified distillery on the isle of Islay (though we expect a few whisky detectives might be able to hazard a guess as to which one it came from), bottled by Ian Macleod as part of the As We Get It range. These whiskies are all bottled without any chill-filtration or additional colouring, and at cask strength.
Nose: Sweet, spiced nose with peat smoke and malt.
Palate: A herbal, medium-bodied palate with peat and barley sugar. A little apple too.
Finish: Spiced and rich finish. A little charred oak…
