A tasty and rather unusual single cask Swiss whisky from Langatun, which was distilled in February 2014 and bottled in February 2019. Before bottling, the whisky saw a year long finish is casks which previously held Nero d’Avola wine. Nero d’Avola grapes are one of the most important red grape varieties in Sicily, boasting a deep red hue which imparted some of the lovely colour to the whisky, alongside a unique flavour profile. Only 411 bottles were released at 49.1% ABV, accompanied by a striking wooden presentation box.
