A Wemyss Malts bottling of Bladnoch single malt, which was allowed to age in a single hogshead from 1990 to 2018. 219 bottles were produced, and given the rather enthusiastic name Sweet as a Nut!.
Sweet as a Nut! 1990 (bottled 2018) – Wemyss Malts (Bladnoch)
Nose: Milky tea, eucalyptus, honeyed malt and some sawdust.
Palate: Digestive biscuits, mature oak, a touch of spent match gives it a savoury edge.
Finish: Creamy vanilla and more honey.
