A single cask bottling of 9 year old single malt Scotch whisky which was distilled at Tobermory Distillery in 2008. It was matured in American oak casks and finished in a Marsala cask. This edition was independently bottled for The Cooper’s Choice range by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co., with 325 bottles produced.
Nose: Fairground candy apples and pear drops initially, with hints of stem ginger and white pepper in the backdrop.
Palate: Ripe orchard fruits, vanilla fudge and delicate and sweet oak spices with delicate, sweet barley notes underneath.
Finish: Rich and unctuous.
