Here we have Tomatin’s second ever distillery exclusive bottling. It’s a fruity 2006 vatting of a pair of casks, which was then finished in French oak for one year. The limited edition single malt was bottled in February 2019 at 46% ABV.
Tomatin 13 Year Old 2006 (cask 33271 & 33272) Distillery Exclusive
Nose: Fruit forward, with tropical fruit and citrus alongside sweeter caramel and balanced spicy notes.
Palate: Smooth caramel, rich plum jam and marzipan sweetness with a touch of spice.
Finish: A satisfyingly dry finish with hints of espresso and more spice.
