This is the 2012 edition of Woodford Reserve’s Master’s Collection – the Four Wood (nothing to do with golf). This was initially matured in American oak, then finished in a selection of Maple Wood, Sherry Wood and Port Wood casks. This has resulted in a hugely flavoursome bourbon, packed with fruit and toffee notes throughout.
