Ben Nevis 23 Year Old (Chorlton Whisky)

This cask strength Ben Nevis was kindly bottled by the ever-wonderful Chorlton Whisky! It’s been through quite the journey, as after it was distilled in 1996 it spent its first seven years in a sherry butt. Then, it was divided into two bourbon hogsheads until the liquid was 23 years old, when the two hogsheads were reunited and bottled up. An outturn of 439 bottles were released at a healthy 53.6% ABV. In classic Chorlton style, the label artwork is truly something to behold.
