Octomore 10.4 3 Year Old

Bruichladdich’s 10th series of Octomore bottlings has been all about challenging conventions, showcasing a softer style of smoke than previous peat bombs. Octomore 10.4, however, adds another layer to the convention challenging, being the youngest Octomore released to date! It was distilled in 2016 and matured for only three years in virgin oak casks, before being bottled at 61.5% ABV. It may be a young whisky, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t complex and enjoyable – not by a long shot.
