Nose: Baked fruit, especially apples and sultanas, with a soft citric sweetness like lemon curd. There’s a slight woodiness, but this smells very young for a 35 year old.
Palate: More baked fruits, this time with cinnamon. A good apple crumble with custard, there are some biscuit notes too but the cinnamon and pepper leads towards the end, with the some gentle cedar wood.
Finish: Sweet dark chocolate and black pepper with a soft cinnamon note.
