Bowmore 15 Year Old 1999 (cask 10583) – Old Particular (Douglas Laing)

An independent bottling of 15 year old Bowmore single malt Scotch whisky, presented as part of the Old Particular range from Douglas Laing. This Islay treat was distilled back in September 1999 (when everyone was likely getting their plans ready for New Year’s Eve already) and left to mature in a single butt until December 2014 (again, people likely planning for New Year’s Eve, albeit a different one). 655 bottles were produced, all filled with pleasingly Sherried peaty single malt.
