Bowmore – Batch 2 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)

The second batch of That Boutique-y Whisky Company’s Bowmore is a smoky, muscular whisky with more than a hint of sherry in the mix. It comes with a rather wonderful comic book illustration of the distillery with a cheeky a schoolboy, stolen bra in hand, being chased by a lifeguard from the nearby pool. Fact Hunt: The swimming pool is actually heated by the waste heat from Bowmore’s copper pot-stills! There are just 292 numbered bottles in batch 2. ‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, bourbons, blended malts and blends from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish comic book-style labels.
